"I was part of a pilot project beteen Missinipi broadcasting corporation. I completed my audio visual technician certificate, at nothlands college then went onto study film making majoring in the writer/producer/director roles at SAIT in calgary, alberta.
I then moved to germany to get married, and while there met independant film makers who wrote and directed. they motivated me and reminded me that I went into the right field. I learned 'art is life and life is art.'
Upon returning, I worked with cheryl l'hirondelle and joseph naytowhow at Meadow Lake Tribal Council on a project interviewing and documenting elders about historical land usage.
I am the grand son of Harry Blackbird...actually his brother crow (kahkahkoo) was my grandpa.
my great grandma(she was a mitsuing)...was married to the second and hereditary chief of waterhen, moonhawk(mo-noch) runningaround."
