I have sewn since I was about six, making Barbie clothes and Sylvanian blankets. Happily I moved on to full sized items, learning by making clothes for myself and for youth theatre projects. I studied costume as part of my Theatre Degree at Dartington where I was interested in creating sculptural pieces that worked with and against the body. As well as studying Costume Design at the Royal School of Art in Antwerp, I have taken a course in pattern cutting which means I can create costume bespoke for a brief.
