I have been involved in performance from a young age. At sixteen I studied Performing Arts and then took a degree in Devised Theatre at Dartington College of Arts.After various work-experience placements and personal projects, I joined the Dave Fish Theatre company devising plays based on the works of Richard Foreman.

Dave Fish toured their production of The Cure and My Head was a Sledgehammer at Mayfest (Bristol Old Vic), the Cheltenham Everyman as well as universities and festivals.

I programme and present Zuleika Ziegfeld's Cabaret of Curiosities at the Cube Microplex with Mr. Richie Paradise. This is a popular night of varied vaudevillean style acts in a great venue. Acts have included Oli Smart's Suitcase Circus, The Hot Potato Syncopators, stand-up Terry Saunders, Boys and Dance, Hoop la La, Thomas Truax, Curtis Eller and many wonderful burlesque starlets.

As well as compering I have performed at the Cabaret with Dave Fish and the Ziegfeld Hobby Horse Players and presented my Cabinet of Curiosities. The Cabinet contains a host of Victorian theatre, music hall and circus stars whose astounding tales are told with puppetry, song and much fascination.

In 2007 I started training in aerial circus arts at Circusmaniacs in Bristol. That December I worked with Beautiful Creatures in Reading for the new work Will o' the Wisp developing aerial, light play and dance work and performing for a ten day run of this multidisciplinary performance.

In May 2008 I joined Circus Ferrel and got my first experience of touring Circus. I performed my Show and Tell acts on corde lisse (rope) and aerial hoop and later in the season a duet on corde lisse with Nina Bambrey. I also got to try my hand at ringmastering, narrating, Spanish Web and teaching circus skills to children.

I hope to continue working in touring circus this summer and am developing idea for a project that will combine my physical theatre and circus skills.
