MAC DUNLOP

(M.A. in Fine Art, and CACDP Certificate in British Sign Language)
Mac is a Cornwall based poet who focuses on promoting the spoken word and performance writing.
He currently writes and produces the radio comedy series ÒUnspoken WordsÓ, which has been broadcast on LondonÕs Resonance FM, and CornwallÕs The Source FM for the last three years.
Mac also founded The Poetry Point (TPP) in 2007 - the writer's 'hub' which focuses on encouraging emerging writers and artists to explore different media and art forms.
Also known for developing digital literature in the past, such as the Orbital Poetry engine - as part of the Caravanserai- a creative research 'do tank' on Cornwall's Roseland Peninsula. Caravanserai hosts writer and artist residencies, as well as regular performance events such as the

Mac's work ranges across various disciplines. Since working with the Semi Ambulant artist collective in the 1980's, his work extends across different media platforms as well as traditional formats. His on line poetry and video works have been included in international touring exhibitions. DATA STREAM PURE CORRUPT which featured in the FILE Hipersonica Event and Symposium Paco das Artes, Sao Paulo Brazil.
