Lady Lucy is an artist / curator and illustrator based in Bristol. Inspirations and tools include feminism, pop music, fanzines, film culture,independent and underground popular cultures, charisma colour pencils, indian Ink, brush pen, photocopying and sketchbooks, performance and interviewing. She is renowned for carrying her skectchbook with her, where ever she goes, cause she's busy making her biggest everyday masterpiece Being Lady Lucy, So if you see her. ask her to have a look. She is currently working on Being Lady Lucy, Being You, Being Special. A collation of her work from across 12 + sketchbooks from the last 2 years of drawing people, and a collaboration with some of her muses, where their talents are used to make something new called Being Special. She
is also making many beautiful series of Indian Ink drawings based on
pictures from old books. She helps curate and programme Bristol's revolutionary Cube Cinema and has her own feminist arts imprint. Independent Heroine. There

has seen her travel to West Bromwich to make portraits of Local Heroes
and a workshop called "Being a woman, being yourself" at visitors
to a International women's day event. For
